TabTrade Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently coming. That will round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. But inform your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
