TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
